Dear almost all,
Well, the dozen or so emails from readers of this blog telling me to QQ more, you get your wish.
I have tried to give to the community out there for years, even through plenty of hate in the hope the nice people would win.
But it's just too much now. Work is hard and I can just do without Internet hate, it's ruining my fun.
I deeply appreciate the supporters over the years and hope that you enjoy your time.
Will I keep playing WoW?
With my friends yes - but my confidence in Blizzard has been seriously knocked. Nerfs are one thing, but those that play a feral Druid know what I mean.
Ultimately stopping this blog is due to the hatred and trolling - I am just sick and tired of it - well done, you win.

(and thanks for the nice replies everyone - YOU are why I tried to keep it going out there in the first place - you should be proud of yourselves as people - just wish the world was filled with people just like you - and not the haters)
Also - if you wondered about this - it's because I received a fairly consistent set of rather - well, lets just say "abusive and graphic" emails from someone that got rather too far and kept coming via different alias names and I just can't deal with that anymore.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the great posts and videos you have put out over the years. I've never commented on anything but have thoroughly enjoyed most of the content you put out on this site. It's a shame that some people just don't appreciate your work, I guess it's their loss.

Im sorry to hear that you have recieved such harsh words from some inconsiderate people over the internet and hope those concerned grow up and move out of thier mother's basements.
Thanks for the great videos/guides/stories (and generally everything) yo have done for the community over the years and i hope that Blizzards misguided actions dont make you loose all faith in them. Fingers crossed that after the inevitable unsubs coming tomorow, it will finally hit them that "we shouldnt have changed that".

I have been reading since you played your shaman, and have always enjoyed you insight, helpful hints and tips, and even your artwork (I still use the blue dragon thingy as my wall paper) hopefully one day you will return and/or they will revert the change. Until then, have fun, and good luck.

This news is very saddening, Red. I've been following your blog for a long time, since Ulduar days. It's sad that the trolls have won, unfortunately that's the internet. Full of total dickwads who can get away with stuff because you don't know who they really are.
I quit WoW recently and don't regret it, Cataclysm ruined the game but now it's ruined your class, I'm actually quite surprised you're still going to play it.
Red, it's been great, logging on in the morning and seeing your updates became a part of my routine. I will sorely miss your blog and I hope you enjoy playing with your friends.

First of all, I need to tell you that I loved reading your blog. I wouldn't have known how to configure Pitbull to this day if it weren't for your blog.
Now, I need to ask you this: You would quit, on your readers, because of ONE person? Really? Also
it doesn't matter if the game is turning out to be shit, people play it because it's FUN and because they have friends who play it, that's part of the game, socialising and having fun, yes there were nerfs...but seriously..it's a game! of course the devs will try something new with it, be it buffing or nerfing stuff, if it doesn't work the way they wanted they'll reverted it..no harm done. Going back to the main thing, just because some trolls are bugging you and some retard is sending you hate mail doesn't mean you have to quit on the people who actually READ your blog and have found it useful in some way or another.
I am quite saddened to see you stop blogging :(, been following you since Ulduar came out, and have read all your posts. Was very nice reading material, loved your videos and you made me want to play a shaman in the first place.

Just wanna say you have given some of the best explanation boss videos I've ever seen on the internet and the calm voiceover always made me feel like even the hardest fight was possible with teamwork :) I'm sad to hear you are taking a break (fingers crossed it wont be forever) but I understand how sometimes you have to do what is best for your peace of mind. Take heart in knowing you have had a very positive affect on a lot of people and we will miss you dearly :)

Don't let these pricks get to you. Haters gonna hate after all. Let them piss and moan, you've not only got better things to do, but you've had the consideration and charity to share your learnings with the world. Some whinge and point fingers, yet many more watch and listen. It was your videos then your posts that kept me fighting as an enhancement shaman, even though all the nerfs and other useless pap. For all this, I thank you deeply Red. All I can offer in return are my best wishes for whatever you choose to do now.

I have two things to say. First off, thank you for your time and effort in helping the community. As I returned back to WoW from a long break, your shammy guides were excellent (As well as inspirational videos). Secondly, I would like to stress that you coped with the haters pretty well and that they probably never will have a great life - the pathologic deviants of society that they are.
